Travel Sick With Grub Smith (Comedy Central)

Before Man Versus Food, before Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, even before Dave Attell's Insomniac, there was Grub Smith's Travel Sick.

In each 30 minute episode that aired in 2001 and 2002, British FHM magazine writer and Cambridge grad Grub Smith visited a faraway land and had to complete five challenges. They included eating a cannibal (Japan), joining a gang (L.A.), and finding the dirtiest toilet in Seoul. The more challenges he failed, the more disgusting his forfeit had to be at the end of the show. This was the prototype for all the weird, insane, gluttonous reality-travel-comedy shows on TV today.

The first clip shows him wearing a glove of Amazonian ants. The second shows him slaughtering and eating a bull.
