Carspotting (32): Superlite SL-R Roadster

I was cruising Grizzly Peak this afternoon when I saw this kit car parked next to the motorbikes along the infamous rock wall.  It's a Superlite SL-R.  It's "inspired" by the Ariel Atom.  It's powered by a used JDM engine out of a Honda/Acura Integra.  It's still a work in progress-- high idle, wheels not balanced, no seatbelt for the passenger seat, etc.  But it looked fast, even while parked.  Apparently, this got through the DMV people thanks to SB100.
