Yesterday, I had lunch at one of those sushi boat places. I was looking online to see how they get the boats to move and to stay equidistant from each other. I suspect that it's magnets. I haven't found the answer yet but here is a camera that was left on a sushi conveyer belt in Japan. Even though the footage was taken in a very public place, it seems awfully intrusive and voyeuristic. You also get to briefly see the inside of a kitchen.

Sushi Conveyer Belt/Boat Camera
Yesterday, I had lunch at one of those sushi boat places. I was looking online to see how they get the boats to move and to stay equidistant from each other. I suspect that it's magnets. I haven't found the answer yet but here is a camera that was left on a sushi conveyer belt in Japan. Even though the footage was taken in a very public place, it seems awfully intrusive and voyeuristic. You also get to briefly see the inside of a kitchen.
