Jochen Rindt Formula One Opera

Austrian national hero and world F1 champion Jochen Rindt died in Monza in 1970. He was the only champion to ever be awarded the title posthumously. Speed's Bob Varsha mentioned during practice yesterday that the Salzburg Rallye Club came out with an opera to honor Rindt.

The opera ran between July 30 and August 2. No word yet on whether the opera will be available online or on DVD. The music is interesting but the cars are out of this world. Here are some shots from the opera. Scroll down for links to a few music clips and the video trailer.
